Saturday’s much anticipated Dundee Sidewalk Extravaganza and kids’ art competition has received a last-minute boost after the municipality agreed to close Beaconsfield Street.

This will mean art and crafters will have much more room to display their goods and shoppers will easily be able to browse round.

Singer, Mark Wilson, will entertain, the SPCA will host a Jail for Bail where well-known celebs will be ‘arrested’ and forced to raise bail via their friends before being released.

There will also be an art competition for primary school kids. Entry is free and there are great prizes to be won. Artwork must be something about nature.
