Asbestos will soon be no more
The budget will cater for both Colita and Forderville areas

Asbestos roofing will soon be a thing of the past as Umtshezi Municipality Mayor Bongani Dlamini announced that funding has been allocated to remove it.
Asbestos will be replaced with a safer alternative.
“I am glad that a resolution has surfaced in our term of office,” said the Mayor about this long outstanding issue.
The Department of Human Settlement recently allocated a budget to deal with the matter. The budget will cater for both Colita and Forderville areas.
The project will be launched formally and it will be introduced to the community to explain how things will proceed closer to time.
“The Implementing Agent (IA) will be engaging on the process to procure and advertise for a service provider or contractor to work on the project,” explained the Acting Municipal Manager Elphas Dladla.
