Wrapping up the season

This past week Sarel faced St Dominic's and Vryheid Landbou in preparation for the season's finale - the battle against Dundee High.

This past week Sarel faced St Dominic’s and Vryheid Landbou in preparation for the season’s finale – the battle against Dundee High. Derby week is always an exciting time at school.
It builds spirit and creates a unified front in anticipation of Derby Day. At St Doms the hockey players discovered that astro turf leaves painful roasties and they faced a formidable team. It was a great experience and the school would like to thank their hosts for a lovely afternoon.

Sarel Cilliers’ chess team played 10 games against St Dominics and won 8 of the games. Sarel congratulates S Tooray, S Samkelo, N Buthelezi, T Jaji, Z Buthelezi, A Ramdutt and L Maphumula on winning their games. The u/15 netball team won 22-2, the second team won 20-1 and the first team won 30-9. Sarel Cilliers drew their chess game against Vryheid Landbou on May 21. S Tooray, A Madawaende and N Ndala won their matches.

Netball: First team won 51-15 and u/14 won 18-1. Hockey: Won 2-0. Rugby: first team won 43-7.
