BREAKING NEWS: Aviary Hill family falls victim to attempted burglary
Burglaries in Aviary Hill, Signal Hill and Hutten Heights continue, with another household targeted this morning.
An Aviary Hill homeowner was left stunned, after three men attempted to break into her home this morning.
“I went to fetch my daughter from school at 10am. When we got home, I opened the gate and saw three men walking down the passageway next to the garage,” claimed the victim, who opted to remain anonymous.

Fearing for family’s safety, she locked herself and her daughter up in the garage.
Within minutes, she had contacted her security service provider and the police.
However, the men managed to escape.
The perpetrators allegedly attempted to gain access to the victim’s home by forcing open the front door’s security gate.
It is speculated they decided to flee the scene when the homeowner returned unexpectedly.
“I saw a car outside the property, and before I locked us up in the garage, I saw them simply walk to the car and drive away.”
Unfortunately, the victim was unable to provide details regarding the appearance of the culprits.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
