Update: Woman brutally murdered in her home
The woman, identified as Zarina Moolla, was found in her bed with multiple stab wounds
An elderly woman was found dead by her domestic worker this morning (Friday) in Gumtree Road, Smartiesville.
The woman, identified as Zarina Moolla, was found in her bed with multiple stab wounds.
According to neighbours, Mrs Moolla was seen at around 8pm last night and everything appeared to be okay.
Detectives and police searched the house to determine if there had been any forced entry. However, this did not seem to be the case and no belongings / items appear to have been taken from the house.
The funeral will take place today (Friday). The funeral procession will leave 72 Gumtree Road after ASR and proceed to Central Musjid for Janaza Salaah.
