A man was rushed to hospital after being assaulted this afternoon (Thursday) in Milkwood Road, Smartiesville.
The man was stabbed in the head and hand.
Sharaj Ambulance Services responded to the scene, where they treated the assault victim for moderate injuries before transporting him to hospital for further medical care.
The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage.
