Get ready for water cuts
Community members are urged to store enough water in containers to prepare for the situation
Due to the current drought situation, with not enough rains received in the Ladysmith area, raw water levels are low.
For this reason, uThukela District Municipality has planned a water cuts schedule from 4pm till 9pm daily. Please note that the times are subject to change.
Areas that will be affected are: the Ladysmith CBD, Observation Hill, Mkhamba Gardens, Modelkloof, Limit Hill, Danskraal Industrial, parts of St Chad’s, parts of Steadville and Roosboom.
