Tops in table tennis
Sibusiso will be representing the KwaZulu-Natal province as he prepares himself for the upcoming South African Junior Championships which will be held in July

Two local youngsters, Andiswa Ndlovu and Sibusiso Zwane, represented uThukela in a table tennis tournament that took place at the Sandton Convention Centre from May 27 to 29.
The two boys represented and raised the flag of uThukela when they participated in the Arnold Hopes Programme in the under 12 division. Tom Cebekhulu, their coach, expressed gratitude to his players and stated that he was impressed with their achievements, although the rest of the players didn’t make it to the final stages.
Andiswa was defeated in the semi-finals and received a medal, while Sibusiso secured a spot in the finals, where he won and was awarded a gold medal for his performance.
“We are still waiting for what will happen after this, but rumour has it that Sibusiso will be flying to Europe to compete with pupils from all over the world in his division,” said Tom.
Sibusiso will also be representing the KwaZulu-Natal province as he prepares himself for the upcoming South African Junior Championships which will be held in July.
“We would like to thank the Department of Sport & Recreation for their contribution towards the youngsters, Ladysmith Municipality for allowing us to utilise halls for training, and lastly uThukela Municipality who paid for the registration of players with regards to the Pietermaritzburg SA Junior Championship Tournament.
“We also appeal to the community to help with donations.”
