Drakensview Primary grade six and seven learners excelled at the Astro Quiz and Spelling Bee competitions that were recently held in Estcourt.
The Astro Quiz grade seven learners – Nomfundo Khubeka, Amanda Xaba, Reatisitswe Likotsi and Lwandile Mlambo were placed first and qualify to compete in the district finals that will be held in Ladysmith on July 22.
Grade six learners – Shezrada Peters, Luyanda Nene and Shamiq Bhikraj competed in the Spelling Bee Competition together with other schools in the circuit.
Shamiq Bhikraj was placed first and will now compete at the district finals on July 29. Well done to these children who are keeping Drakensview’s flag flying high.
