“It took place at about 2am, when they gained access to the store by breaking into the doctor’s office next door, and then making a hole through the wall to gain entry into my office,” said Bennie Vorster, the franchise owner of the cellphone store.

Mr Vorster claimed the burglars managed to steal an undisclosed amount of stock and money before making their escape.

An unofficial source from the doctor’s office claimed the burglars had not stolen anything from them. “They went straight for the cellphone dealership,” she said.

Police investigations are being conducted.
