Update: Brother confesses to ‘suitcase’ murder

He gave a full confession in court in Ezakheni

On June 10, police were called out to Ezakheni E-Section, where a decomposing body was found stuffed into a suitcase. The deceased was a 31-year-old woman who had been beaten to death with a blunt object.

An occupant of the house, who was also the woman’s boyfriend, was arrested for the murder. However, the suspect’s 19-year-old brother came forward and said that he had in fact murdered the woman.

He gave a full confession in court in Ezakheni. Charges were dropped against the initial suspect and laid against the brother.

The 19-year-old is set to appear in court today (Thursday).
