Colenso Visible Policing officers arrested two suspects yesterday (Thursday) for possession of dagga.
The men, aged 39 and 23, were arrested at their homes in the Msuluzi and Nkanyezi areas.
The first suspect was found in possession of loose dagga that was stored in a plastic bag. The drugs weighed in at 2.9kg, with a street value of about R4500.
The second suspect was found to be in possession of 125 pokes of dagga, weighing in at 700g and valued at R1500.
Both suspects will appear in the Colenso Magistrate’s Court today.
