The icy weather that is expected to hit the area this weekend will, hopefully, bring a little rain too.  The mercury is expected to plummet on Sunday with the weatherman predicting a high of 8 degrees and a minimum of 2.  Rain and even snow is expected on the higher-lying areas.

Things warm up a bit on Monday with a maximum of 11 on Monday and 16 degrees on Tuesday.  The high today is 24 degrees although it does feel warmer because of the pre-frontal warm wind and the dust that is in the air.

So wrap up warmly and think of those less fortunate who will be out on the streets when the cold front sets in.
