The IEC have counted only 40-50% of the results
The highly anticipated local government election results are slowly coming in with the IEC in Ladysmith still counting ballot papers.
According to the IEC, they have counted only 40-50% of the results with a final count only expected later.
Sipho Khumalo, an IEC Outreach Training Officer for the uThukela District stated that results are expected to be completed anytime between 8pm and midnight today.
