Peacevale residents say they are living in ‘virtual fear’, following a spate of mainly daytime burglaries in the area.
In at least two incidents, residents have been attacked in their homes and tied up and robbed of appliances and cash.
One man was locked in a room while thieves looted his house.

A favourite area is the top section of Peacevale, opposite Talana Museum. One resident, who declined to be named,  said he knew of at least six burglaries over the past ‘few weeks’.
Residents are now considering setting up a neighbourhood watch to assist with the fight against crime.
