Swift recovery of stolen vehicle by Amangwe SAPS

The vehicle had been abandoned by the suspects minutes before police arrived and its registration plates had already been changed to bear false ones

In the early hours of Monday morning, August 22, officers from the Amangwe South African Police Service (SAPS) were busy with patrol duties in the Nkomokazini area when they received information about a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle had been stolen earlier in Estcourt. They followed up on the information and came across the said vehicle.

The vehicle had been abandoned by the suspects minutes before police arrived and its registration plates had already been changed to bear false ones.

The vehicle has since been recovered and is being investigated for evidence that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators of the crime.
