Family ties – the strength that keeps this Ndlovu family together
Quoting from the Bible, Dumisani concluded: "Thank the Lord my soul for what He has given you. A man who looks after his children is blessed - it is important to praise and thank God for what he has given us."
The importance of family was stressed when the Ndlovu family hosted a thanksgiving ceremony in honour of their seven children at Fairbreeze Farm, Dannhauser.
More than 200 family members and friends gathered where Siphamandla, Bonginkosi, Thembekile, Dumisile, Siyabonga, Nokuthula, Gugulethu were the stars of the celebration. Their father, Dumisane, and mother, Dumsile, said ‘we decided to throw a big celebration for our children because we believe in the Almighty’.
“The children we are blessed with are gifts from God so it is important to thank God.”
He said married couples end up divorcing when they cannot have children because each of ‘them points a finger at the other, accusing their partner of infertility’.
