Harpo gets new equipment

NEWCASTLE based shop SA Office Solutions donated a printer and computer to Harpo Primary School on Thursday last week.

This follows the school’s outcry for help from local businesses as they are currently short of many school supplies including furniture.

According to the company’s Andre Coetzer, SAOS has been helping schools that are struggling with equipment for year’s.

“We received a letter from the school principal asking if we could assist them with any form of equipment as their office did not have a printer and computer and so we decided to step in,” said Andre.

The school’s principal Mrs Malibongwe Masombuka was very happy with the response.

“We are delighted to have received this help from SAOS. There is still a lot that the school is short of but we are always glad to see businesses reaching out to help us. We are still appealing to local businesses to help us as we currently have two classes without chairs and desks,” said Mrs Masombuka.
