MADADENI – Meridian Newcastle Independent School was proud to announce its official opening on October 14.
Funded by Old Mutual, there are endless possibilities and potential for the future of the school.

District Mayor, Musa Ngubane delivered the keynote address.
“We are a government to the people, for the people and by the people,” he said.
The school will have its first Grade 12 class next year, and hope to obtain a 100 per cent pass rate.
“It is at your doorstep, make good use of it. We expect to have leaders coming out of this school,” said Cllr Ngubane.
He said the support the school would receive from the Amajuba District was not debatable, and he would make every effort to place it on the map.

“I plead with the community to support this initiative,” he concluded.
