Matrics still hard at work writing final exams

Is the standard of this year's matric exam papers higher than in previous years?

Matrics around the country are hard at work writing their final exams. For many, this is a stressful time of the year.  The Courier popped by Sarel Cilliers High School this morning where a hushed silence was evident.  One could possibly hear a pin drop in the newly renovated hall, damaged by a fire in July, as the students were bent over their desks writing their MTEC exam.

Kevin van Staden, Sarel Cilliers principal, said the standard of this year’s exam papers appeared to be very high.  “There have been some tough papers… but our students have all knuckled down and we wish them the best,” he said.

Are you writing your matric exams? If so, let us know about your feelings regarding the standard of the papers and how you have prepared for the finals.
