Congregation hosts a walk with a purpose

Through the feast, the congregation recognised Christ in their hearts as sovereign Lord and master

St. Matthew’s Anglican Church celebrated the Christ the King feast on Sunday, November 20.

The parish walked around the block from their church in Connor Street in commemoration of the feast.

The Sunday service kicked off with a pledge to Christ – their king. The procession was led by Father Madoda Khumalo and Guest Pastor Sanele Hadebe, who is from the Restoration of God’s Glory Church.

Through the feast, the congregation recognised Christ in their hearts as sovereign Lord and master. The walk was coupled with songs of praise and worship.
