Festivity at Squash Club finals

ON December 3, the Vryheid Squash Club was buzzing with action!
Thank you to all who played throughout the Championships and especially to those who played their final games on Saturday. The games were great to watch! Congratulations especially to the main winners of the different sections: A-Section Winner – Jan-Daniel Kruger, Runner-up – Kurt Spangenberg, A-Plate Winner – Byron van Eeden, Runner-up – Yusuf Kajee, B-Section Winner – Riaan Boshoff, Runner-up – Pieter Venter, B-Plate Winner – Morne Strauss, Runner-up – Cjaane Hartslief. Congratulations also to Jacques Theron for being awarded the NTT Toyota Most Improved Player Award.
After the games, Father Christmas came to surprise the kids and after that, a delicious sheep was enjoyed on the spit and the evening was enjoyed until late! Thank you to all the members who attended the finals and year-end function.

There will be no official leagues/games for the rest of 2016, but Thursday nights will still be social nights with the traditional bring-and-braai afterwards. We wish all our members a very blessed Christmas and all the best for 2017!
