Academic Stars awarded

MPUCUKO Primary School, at Nhlahleni near eMondlo, held its end of the year academic awards ceremony on Wednesday, November 23 from 10am till 1pm.
Learners, from grade R to grade 7, were awarded certificates in different subjects for achieving high marks.
Among the learners who received academic certificates for their outstanding performance were Nombulelo Mbatha , Jabulani Nkosi, Silindile Malinga, Asanda Ngema, Nonjabulo Linda, Andile Mbatha, Nokwetthemba Sangweni, Andiswa Nyandeni and Siyamthanda Ngema.
Parents attended the ceremony in numbers to see their children awarded.
The school principal, Mrs ANS Mbatha, thanked everyone who attended. She said that everything went well and that it was an enjoyable day for both learners and parents.
She encouraged learners to work very hard at school and to listen to their educators.
She also asked parents to support their children and work together with educators.
