Left without water once again
Technicians are on site, filling up the reservoir, and water should be reaching homes later this evening
Those receiving their water supply from Ezakheni are without water once again.
At around 3pm, residents’ taps ran dry.
According to uThukela engineers, the reason why homes are without water is because the main line has been drained due to high consumption, which resulted in the reservoir running empty after the electrical fault was repaired.
Technicians are on site, filling up the reservoir, and water should be reaching homes in the latter part of this evening (December 10).
uThukela apologises for the inconvenience caused.
