Sewage leak upsets Camp Road residents
Raw effluent has been leaking out for a number of days now, leaving the whole of Camp Road with a disgusting smell
Residents of Camp Road, Hospital Park area, have had to deal with leaking sewage for over five days now.
The leak is at the corner of the road, leaving motorists and pedestrians angry at the revolting sight of raw effluent, not to mention the horrendous smell that has gotten progressively worse as the days have gone by.
“This is absolutely disgusting for us as residents. This is not the way a residential area should be! Seriously, the municipality needs to do something about this situation as a matter of urgency,” said an upset resident.
Motorists say they have to slow down as much as possible, as they are afraid that the stinky sewer water will splash up and dirty their cars.
