Emergency personnel rescued a dog that was trapped in the inferno
A house in the Winterton area caught alight today (December 16).
The house, situated behind Valley Bakery, was completely destroyed in the fire.
Shocked community members stood by and watched in horror as the thatched roof collapsed, engulfed in flames.
Okhahlamba firefighters responded and successfully extinguished the flames.
Emergency personnel rescued a dog that was trapped in the inferno.
No injuries were reported.
Sharaj Rescue & Response units were also on scene.
It is unclear at this moment what caused the fire.
