Time stands still once more…
This is not the first time the clock has stopped working
It’s been over a month now that the Town Clock has not been operational. Since it is such a landmark and one of the major historical attractions of our town, people are shaking their heads in wonder at how this situation can just be left to continue.
The old question of whether the municipality is interested in rectifying the situation is also on everyone’s mind.
The clock is stuck at 10.55 and the hands are not moving.
Has time stood still and if so, will Christmas and New Year not arrive?
This is not the first time the clock has stopped working.
This seems to be a recurring phenomenon in which the clock stops, the municipality take their time (excuse the pun) and eventually fix it, only for the hands to grind to a halt later on down the (time) line.
