MATRIC RESULTS 2016: KZN achieves a 66.4% pass rate

The Class of 2016 was the largest group in history to write the National Senior Certificate Matric exams

And the anxious wait is finally over.

With a loud sigh and weight lifted of the shoulders local matriculants set out spilling over with mixed emotions to receive their matric results.

The Department of Basic Education  announced the 2016 National Senior Certificate examination results yesterday, Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

In an atmosphere filled with excitement and nerves the class of 2016 accessed their individual results later that evening.

The Class of 2016 was the largest group in history to write the National Senior Certificate Matric exams; the pass rate increased from 70.7 percent in 2015 to 72.5 percent in 2016.

KwaZulu Natal has achieved a national pass rate of   66.4 percent up from 60.7 percent achieved in 2015.
