Ferrum’s top achievers

Two FHS matriculants were among the Top 5 learners in the Amajuba District, and were lauded for their achievements at an extravagant ceremony held in Durban on January 5, attended by the Top 5 learners from each district in KwaZulu-Natal.

SUNNY RIDGE – Ferrum High School (FHS) had a spectacular matric pass rate of 99 percent in 2016. Altogether 133 learners received Bachelor passes, 61 qualified for Diploma studies and 10 received a Higher Certificate pass.

Two FHS matriculants were among the Top 5 learners in the Amajuba District, and were lauded for their achievements at an extravagant ceremony held in Durban on January 5, attended by the Top 5 learners from each district in KwaZulu-Natal.

Ewaldi Fick was the top matriculant at FHS and came second in the Amajuba District. Elmarie van der Merwe was second in the school and fifth in the district. They each received a laptop and vouchers for their excellent performances.

The staff of FHS are extremely proud of their matriculants, and wish them a successful future and prosperous life ahead.
