Albert and Keate streets intersection rapidly decaying

The intersection is covered in scars of potholes as the road surface decays

A badly damaged road surface coupled with faded road markings can be a dangerous duo. This is what the intersection of Albert and Keate streets look like.

A concerned road user wanted to highlight the danger that this intersection poses and urges the municipality to urgently repair the road.

The intersection, which is situated across the road from the local traffic department, is covered in scars of potholes as the road surface decays.

In response to the resident’s concerns, Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality‘s Communications Manager Belinda Davies said: “I believe the roadworks have begun already, as this is part of the clean-up campaign that was recently launched.”
