Near miss for Noela Dreyer in Newcastle

THE KwaZulu Country Districts Masters was held in Newcastle over the weekend of January 28 and 29.
This is an extremely prestigious event, with only the best singles players from each club taking part. We are very proud of Noela Dreyer and Phillip Schutte who were
invited. Noela unfortunately lost by only two points to Nan Roos from Dundee. Well done, Noela. Our club is very proud of you.
On February 1, we start our Sundowner’s Competiton at 5pm. Thank you to those players taking part in this evening play. It is such a lovely time of the day to play bowls.
Our year is starting with a bang with several district competitions coming up and another Business League in May. Good luck to all taking part in these.
