Cllr Mkhize, ANC Chief Whip at uThukela, Ladysmith, passes away
A memorial service will be held today at the Civic Hall at 1pm
“It is with great regret and sadness that uThukela District Municipality has learned about the shocking news of the sudden passing of Cllr Amos Mkhize on February 3 after a very brief illness,” reports the district municipality.
Cllr Mkhize was the Chief Whip of the African National Congress (ANC) in the uThukela District.
“Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go to the Mkhize family during this difficult time,” said the municipality.
A memorial service will be held today (February 9) at the Civic Hall at 1pm.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, at the Indoor Sports Complex at 9am.
Deepest condolences are extended to his family, friends, colleagues and comrades.
