Vryheiders to the rescue once again
The fire-truck is said to have arrived after the fire had been put out with only the driver and no fireman.

A FIRE at a house on Hlobane Street yesterday proved once more just how close-knit the water crisis has made the Vryheid community.
According to Cherise Greef, a resident at the said property in Hlobane Street, the fire started off at a Wendy House in the yard at around 4:45pm yesterday.
“Belinda Kriel, the woman that stays in the Wendy House with her partner, said that she smelled something burning. She was in the Wendy House at the time, but when she looked around she couldn’t see anything. A few minutes later, a neighbour rushed into the yard screaming that the Wendy House was on fire, and by this time a huge part of the house had caught flame,” explained Cherise.
With the help of the Neighbourhood Watch, CPF and other members of the community, these Hlobane Street residents were able to douse the fire.
The fire-truck is said to have arrived after the fire had been put out with only the driver and no fireman.
Unfortunately, a lot of the items belonging to the couple occupying the Wendy House were damaged.
Sympathetic Vryheiders have since been pouring out their heartfelt sympathy with many taking to local social media pages to see what they can do to help the couple.
Community members who would like to help can contact Cherise Greef on 071 493 0891.
For those who would like to donate clothing, the woman is a size 34 and the man is a size 44.
