Estcourt Secondary scholars to the rescue
46 learners attended the blood donor clinic, 37 pints of blood were donated and the target was 30
The red and white minibus taxi inside the Estcourt Secondary School (ESS) hostel yard signalled the arrival of the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) staff on February 2.

46 learners attended the blood donor clinic, 37 pints of blood were donated and the target was 30. 25 ESS students became blood donors after making their first blood donation at the clinic.
The SANBS team and the Clinic Co-ordinator SM Dawoonarain urge all learners who meet the donation requirements to pledge to donate four times this year.
