Mayor consoles grieving families
Mrs Mbele took along groceries, as a contribution towards the funerals
On February 3 the Mayor of Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality, Councillor Jabulile Mbele visited three families who recently lost loved ones in a car accident, which occurred near Thokozisa.
The Zondi and Mnguni families were visited in Ward two and the Mpembe family in Ward three, Loskop. The Mayor was accompanied by Ward five Councillor Ndumo, Ward three Councillor Mpembe and Councillor Ndlangalala from ward two.
The delegation went to offer comfort to the family members. Some of the deceased were the breadwinners in their families’ homes, leaving behind children who still need their support.
Mrs Mbele took along groceries, as a contribution towards the funerals.
The Mayor said: “As the municipality, we sympathise with the family, and we understand the pain that you going through during this time. Sithi alwehlanga lungehlanga.”
