Ayoba is changing lives through sport

The event will feature soccer and netball and is open to schools from the Endumeni region and surrounding areas.

Sifisokuhle Dlamini is hoping to change the lives of youngsters in the community through sports.
Together with his team at Ayoba, Sifiso has put together a bumper sports day on March 15 at the Mpumelelo Stadium. The event will feature soccer and netball and is open to schools from the Endumeni region and surrounding areas. The soccer is open for boys and girls to participate.
“We are always told that education is the key to success but sport is also so important,” Sifiso said. Sifiso is hoping to add more schools and sporting events in the years to come.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds in order to purchase sanitary pads for disadvantaged schools within the area. Companies can also donate sanitary pads to the cause instead of cash.
Lungile Mfeka, who has partnered with Sifiso, explained that many underprivileged girls miss out on school for approximately four to seven days due to lack of finances to purchase sanitary pads. Ayoba are hoping to make this an annual event so that disadvantaged girls never have to suffer.
Ayoba are looking for any assistance or donations towards making the event a success. If you would like to assist or for more information, contact Sifiso on 073 887 7118 or Lungile on 076 897 1593.
