The homeowner questioned why a day is designated for refuse removal, when refuse is not collected
Salvia Road residents say they are fed up of having to deal with uncollected refuse.
“I take my refuse out on the day it should be collected only to return from work and find a disgusting mess,” said a Salvia Road homeowner.
The homeowner questioned why a day is designated for refuse removal, when refuse is not collected. One other resident would like to urge surrounding business and homeowners to place their waste into refuse bags, as that also contributes to the mess.
The matter has been brought to the municipality’s attention previously.
The residents are enraged that when municipal employees fail to collect the refuse, they have to pick up litter that blows into their yards and also put up with the sight and stench after dogs have ripped up refuse bags. Residents have also highlighted the unhygienic conditions that delayed refuse removal poses.
