Dundee Tourism goes In The Woods
Dundee Tourism hopes that more business and companies in Dannhauser area will get on board

The Dannhauser area is slowly getting on board the tourism train and showcasing some of the sights that the area has to offer.
Local BnB, In The Woods, formerly Limen Clinic, recently joined the Dundee Tourism Board.
The BnB, once belonged to Durnacol Mine Manager, Dave Watson. Mr Watson started out as a surveyor at the mine in 1950, working his way up to the mine manager’s position.
The BnB boasts six rooms, massive gardens, a pool and a lapha and is run by Dorothy Nel and her daughter. The house, now 96 years old, is still in impeccable condition. It has become a sought-after spot for wedding photos too.

Members of Dundee Tourism and Talana Museum recently visited the area to see what the BnB boasts and ensure that everything is up to standard.
Dundee Tourism hopes that more business and companies in Dannhauser area will get on board. While in the area, they also paid a visit to the Durnacol Skills Innovation Hub, a privately owned training centre.
While the Skills Hub currently trains artisans, electricians and even chefs, among other skills, talks are underway to start training tour guides at the facility. Talana Museum Curator, Pam McFadden, is excited about the possible venture.
It may be a small town but there are some big plans in place to get tourism boosted in the area.
