Trash dumped in front of Ladysmith Town Hall

A small portion of the long grass has been cut, but the rubbish just left there

A pile of dumped trash right in front of the Ladysmith Town Hall has residents questioning the municipality’s competence.

The trash sits right in front of the main entrance in Murchison Street.

The whole area, including the front side of the museum, has overgrown grass.

A small portion of the long grass has been cut, but the rubbish just left there and residents are asking why.

“As Murchison Street is our town’s business hub and has lots of activity taking place, you would think that cleanliness would be a priority to the municipality. The street also houses the Town Hall and the Siege Museum,” said a local resident.
