Poetry club offers locals a creative platform

Are you an aspiring poet, wanting an opportunity to recite your work to others?

Do you enjoy jotting down your thoughts and expressions, or would you like to listen to poetic pieces?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the Inkosi Langalibalele Poetry Club is just for you.

The month-old club was founded by local youth with the aim of giving youngsters a creative platform and move away from social ills plaguing our community.

“The amount of young people attending has grown and the talent that has been unfolded thus far is mind blowing,” said Sambulo Zondi one of the founders of the club.

You and your friends are welcome to attend weekly club sessions at the Estcourt Town Library‘s projection room on Friday afternoon from 2pm.
