The turnout for both clinics was positive. 34 blood donors attended with 29 pints of blood being collected. Alan Bhiki donates his ninth pint of blood.
30 women had free breast cancer screenings, which were conducted by a Carmelle Smith from Cansa.
Yeshiel Singh donated his 12th pint.
The Estcourt Sai Centre would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all regular and new blood donors as well as the 30 people who came forward to take advantage of the cancer screenings.
Arthi Harpal donated her eighth pint of blood.
Due to a request from locals, the Sai Centre is organising cancer screening for men on May 7. This will be confirmed closer to the date, so keep an eye out.
Momim Mariam was keen to donate her first pint of blood.
The centre also extends a thank you to the SANBS and Cansa Pietermaritzburg.
