Coca-Cola Beverage Company South Africa hosts stakeholders at Tramonto Boutique Hotel

SIGNAL HILL – The Coca-Cola Beverage Company South Africa (CCBCSA) held a stakeholders evening on March 30 at Tramonto Boutique Hotel.
Established stakeholders in Newcastle such as Shoprite, Pick n Pay and officials from the Small Enterprise Development Association (SEDA) were present.
The aim of the meeting was to recognise the success in the northern area of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
District manager for KZN north, Excellent Madlala, said Newcastle contributed 36 per cent of Coca-Cola sales in KZN, which amounted to 5.3 per cent contribution in the country.
He emphasised that Coca-Cola was also associated with other products such as Powerade, Appletiser and PowerPlay, to name a few.
“Coca-Cola remains a product which is bought on impulse. If you go to a shop for bread and milk and see a bottle of coke, whether it is on special or not, you will buy it,” he said.
The evening concluded with a scrumptious dinner and a cool can of Coca-Cola.
