Update: Water restored in some areas of Ladysmith

Engineers are still on site and trying to establish the root cause of the water interruption

uThukela has managed to restore water supply in some parts of Aloe Park and surrounding areas, while others will be receiving water later today (April 11).

“Our engineers are still on site and trying to establish the root cause of the water interruption,” said uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza.

Residents with dry taps are encouraged to take containers to the mosque in Poona Road to fill up with water.
