The Sathya Sai organisation hosted a blood donor campaign last Sunday at the Dundee Hindu Temple Hall in a bid to encourage people from the community and organisation to give blood.
Members of the SA National Blood Services were on hand to put first-time donors at ease. Ashmin Dheena of the Sathya Sai organisation described the day as ‘very rewarding… it was heartwarming to see our community come together to serve and help the needy. “Our message got across positively and we managed to receive 21 successful donations, which made us happy enough as we are instrumental in saving lives.”
