Child Protection Week marked in Endumeni

Child Protection Activities start today, May 29, until to the main event June 2 in the Moth Hall at 9am

The Department of Social Development together with Endumeni Municipality will hold a series of events this week  to mobilise learners at crèche level on a Child Protection Awareness under the 2017 theme: “Let us all protect children to move South Africa forward.”
The aim of child protection is to ensure the safety, well-being, care and protection of children through an integrated multi-disciplinary approach. Working together we have agreed to a working partnership to ensure that children are cared for and protected. Protecting children from violence, exploitation and abuse is not only a basic value but also an obligation clearly set out in the South African Constitution.

Child Protection Activities start today, May 29,  until to the main event June 2 in the Moth Hall at 9am. The dialogue will begin by conducting a peaceful march by learners from all crèches within the area, their teachers and stakeholders from  Civic Centre down with Victoria Street to the Moth Hall.
