The Senior Pastors of the Midlands Christian Centre and Directors of Estcourt Christian Academy, Pastors Jon and Tracy Kühn, were afforded the opportunity to head up Accelerated Education Enterprise’s (AEE) overseas trip to the International Student Convention (ISC) in the USA.

They were selected for this prestigious task to take 30 high-school students, from South Africa and other African nations, to compete at the ISC, which was hosted at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Over 2 000 students, from around the world, attended this week long event.

The competition is comprised of many different disciplines including sports, academics, drama, arts and music, allowing the students to compete in a sort of a ‘mini Olympics.’ During their time in America they toured New York City, Washington DC and then completed the trip with a visit to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

We are trusting that Estcourt Christian Academy‘s students who will be attending the 2017 All Africa Student Convention (AASC) in Bloemfontein later this year, will qualify to attend the ISC at Ball State University, Indianapolis, USA in 2018. Well done Pastors Jon and Tracy for representing Estcourt Christian Academy at the ISC and for putting Estcourt on to the world stage.
