Newcastle Mayor offers condolences to W/O Sasha Naidoo’s family

Warrant Officer Sasha Naidoo, one of Newcastle’s finest police officers, tragically passed away last night, June 29.

As the community reels from the shock, Newcastle Mayor Makhosini Nkosi extended his condolences.

“It is with shock and sadness to learn about the passing away of W/O Naidoo. I have known him for many years as a dedicated and committed officer, who was passionate about his work. Indeed, our police services will never be the same without him.”

Cllr Nkosi has passed on his prayers to W/O Naidoo’s family on behalf of the Newcastle Municipality.

“May the Lord grant his family strength in such a difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
