Blood donors brave the cold to save lives

Although the weather was chilly, the Estcourt Sai Centre and SANBS are grateful to those donors who took the time to roll up their sleeves and donate a pint of blood

21 pints of lifesaving blood was donated by locals on Sunday.

This was when the Estcourt Sai Centre partnered with the South African Blood Service (SANBS) to host a blood donor clinic.

The venue was at the Forderville Primary School Hall and donors were welcomed during 10am and 2pm.

Anitha Lakhan and potential blood donor Lamishka Lakhan attended the donor clinic.
