Commuters stranded after protests block Nquthu off
Many commuters had to use alternative routes to get home
Ongoing protests continued to block the Dundee/Nquthu road yesterday with many commuters being forced to home to Dundee via the Vryheid road.
Burning tyres and rocks blocked the road. The protests are believed to be related to the taxi industry with passengers urging Government to subsidize the taxi fares. It is not clear as to how long the protests will continue.
