Man stabbed to death during robbery

Crime continues to spike

A man was stabbed to death in Lindelani on Friday.
Police said the man, who they did not name, was walking in the area shortly after midnight when he was apparently robbed.
A struggle appears to have ensued during which the man was stabbed to death. No arrests have been made.
In other crime news, police reported the arrest of two foreign nationals who were arrested on Saturday for manufacturing fake notes (R100).
A case was opened and an investigation continues.
Burglaries are continuing apace: There were three burglaries over the weekend – one in Birkett Street, one in France (Sibongile area) and one on Mackenzie Street. No arrests have been made.
